Adobe Flex and AIR are gaining adoption in the enterprise. They are increasingly becoming mainstream technologies for complex application development. This means, Flex and AIR are no more just toys for creating eye-candy. They are serious high performing, scalable and reliable technologies for business critical applications.

This is excellent news but its also quite scary, because now the risks and costs of failure can be very high. So, its important that rich enterprise applications be architected correctly from the begining. Appropriate design patterns and programming idioms be applied to them with rigour and discipline.

For those who share this goal of getting architecture and design right, we are organizing a thorough hands-on bootcamp in New York City between March 23 and 25, 2009. The session is intentionally restricted to a small group, that will accomodate a maximum of 15 to 20 people.

Join us to

Learn how to build enterprise grade Flex applications

Learn to leverage the common design patterns in Flex and ActionScript 3 applications

Understand what Cairngorm, PureMVC, Mate, Prana and Fireclay are all about

Learn to preempt problems involved in building complex enterprise grade Flex applications. Build applications reliable, scalable and performant from the begining.

Details about the event are available at http://flexdesignpatterns.eventbrite.com.

The full price for the 3 day session is $1299 per attendee. You can avail the early bird pricing of $1099 per attendee, if you register before March 9, 2009. In addition, there is a discount code — GoOnLearning — for readers of this blog and website. It will save you another $75.

Seats are restricted and will run out real soon. Please register right away if you would like to be part of this bootcamp.

See you there!
